About Chitrakote Waterfall
Chitrakote Waterfall is one of the most famous tourist destinations of Bastar. The Indravati river falls from a height of around 90 feet in a horseshoe shape, which is why it is often called the Niagara of India.
Best time to visit: July to October (monsoon) for full flow; October to February for pleasant weather and boating.
How to reach: Around 38 km west of Jagdalpur by road. Taxis and private vehicles are easily available from Jagdalpur.
